Henry Grech

Practice Chairman


Henry Grech is The Practice Chairman of Grech Partners Solicitors and leads the Commercial and Corporate Division of the Firm. He was admitted as a solicitor of New South Wales on 4th June 1971 and entered the register of Practitioners as a solicitor of the Federal Court and of the Courts of the Territories under the control of the Commonwealth of Australia on the 5th August 1971.

On the 12th May 1984, Henry was inducted into the Notorical Faculty by the archbishop of Canterbury followed by his admission into the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners on 22nd September 2000 and is registered as a Trust and Estate Practitioner.

Henry has over 30 years experience in acting for a multitude of Businesses, Corporations, Listed Companies and Financial Institutions across a broad sector, advising clients in areas encompassing business management, structuring and legal advice generally. He has conducted matters in the Local Court, District Court, Land and Environment Court, Federal Court, Supreme Court and High Court of Australia.

Henry is a Specialist in the area of Asset Protection, Succession Planning, Estate Planning and Structuring and has lectured in Australia and Overseas. He has a passion for protecting his clients Assets that have been acquired over many years of hard work and planning and works vigilantly with his clients to protect their Asset Pool. His first asset protection matter was established over 30 years ago and that same trust structure has now successfully passed through two generations.

Henry provides both private client advice and consultancy advice to other professionals such as Accountants and Lawyers in relation to their clients' matters. He regularly presents seminars to industry bodies and professional groups in the areas of structuring, asset protection and succession planning.

Henry is a competent and skilled negotiator regularly exceeding client and Senior Counsel expectations. In one particular matter he successfully negotiated a $3 million settlement in favour of a client, after Senior Counsel had advised that they accept $750,000.00. Drawing upon his many years of successful experience Henry is able to apply his results oriented approach and guide his clients to timely commercial settlements.

Henry is a happily married man with five wonderful children. In his leisure time he enjoys surfing, bicycle riding, running and yoga. He is an active member of organisations such as The Salvation Army Greater Western Sydney Business Appeal, is an Executive member of the Hills Chamber of Commerce and is a current member (and Past President) of Kellyville Rotary Club.
